The Whitechapel Youth Action Group attended the national steering group residential a few weeks ago, at The Chill Factore Manchester, to help finalise the youth engagement toolkit OSOW is creating! But it wasn’t all work and no play… There was also activities on the slopes & climbing!
The OSOW toolkit will help other social landlords to implement Youth Engagement Projects all over the country!
Just after the residential the Whitechapel group were sent a sneak-peak preview of the toolkit & they were very pleased to see their ideas had been listened to & used.
It is safe to say…. they approved!!

Watch this space for the Youth Oskars!
Our Say Our Way are working with 20 youth groups in London to create a night to remember.
As a response to all the negativity piled on the young people of the capital by the media this summer, a group of 30 volunteers will create an evening celebrating young people’s achievements.
More than twenty young people will receive a youth oskar after being nominated by their youth group with more than 200 young people attending a night of music, comedy, food and recognition!

After plenty of Hard work, young people at The Leander youth club have a new IT suite with 8 state of the art computers, a forum room and a music studio of their own! All that’s left to do is to connect up the music equipment and start jamming! Watch this space for new tunes.
