21 year old apprentice ‘Jermaine Lawlor’ hopes to use experience to reach out to youth

Nov22

Jermaine Lawlor is a self determined and dedicated youth worker who believes in positive changes in our community to enable young people to better themselves, reach their goals and to discover their true potential. Giving them choices and ensuring that their voices are heard are of extreme importance to Him. By using his experiences of gang culture and wrong choices in life which ultimately led to Jermaine being caught up on the wrong side of the legal system, he was heading one way, but he found God which changed his whole life. He now goes into local schools and delivers topics on drugs & alcohol. He also holds a FA level 2 coaching badge in for football and coaches young people at regular sessions. Jermaine Lawlor has become a positive role model within the community where he works.
